Year-round. Working and skiing in Japan over winter.
We at Sherpas Ride run freeride ski/snb trips to Japan and ski-touring expeditions to Arctic Norway. This year we are expanding with some new trips to the most exciting locations around the world. We are looking for an Operations and Marketing Coordinator with the possibility to go skiing and work in Japan over winter. Are you a skiing/snowboarding lover who wants to be a part of a unique project? Possibility of remote work.
Guiding in Japan and/or Ski and Sail trip in Norway
Season: Japan, Hokkaido and Honshu (January and February), Norway, Ski and Sail (March and April). We need you for at least 3 weeks in Japan and 2 weeks in Norway (if we are covering the flight)
For Japan – CAA Level 1, UIAGM or Ski Guide (ACMG, AMGA)
For Norway – UIAGM or Ski Guide (ACMG, AMGA)
Fluent English (verbal)
Strong client orientation
Outgoing attitude
Guiding skiers and snowboarders (lift-accessed freeride and ski touring)
Spending some extra time with guests (dinners – couple times a week)
You will be responsible for your group`s safety and will make sure they will have a great experience with us
Driving clients to resorts and ski-touring locations (Japan), in Norway this is taken care of by the skipper 🙂

Are you a skiing/snowboarding lover who wants to be a part of a unique project? Do you want to spend your winter in Japan? We at Sherpas Ride run freeride ski/snb trips to Japan and ski-touring expeditions to Arctic Norway. This year we are expanding with some new trips to the most exciting locations around the world. We are looking for Breakfast Cook and Runner to work with us and stay in Japan (Hokkaido) between the end of December and the beginning of March.
5:30 _ wake up, drive to the clients’ house (5min drive)
6:00 _ some snow clearing might be needed
7:00 _ breakfast is ready
7:00 – 8:00 _ taking care of the clients while they eat their breakfast, providing refills etc.
8:00 – 8:30 _ making dishes after the BF or leaving the house with one of our groups
8:00 (8:30) – 14:30 (or later) free time _ most likely shredding powder in some of our destinations
Late afternoon – evening _ some are off, but most days there are some things to do
(recycling, driving, further snow-clearing, some technical help, ski maintenance, and so on…)
